Hey everyone my guinea pig got a hold of a house plant and seems she took some bites I'm very worried for her health is this toxic to them? What could i get her if it is or what vets are trustworthy in the nyc area (not sure how to add pictures here but the plant looks like and probably is a sansevieria) she did not eat the whole leaf its a very small plant but she did eat about 1/3 of the plan

Welcome to the forum!
You should be able to add a picture soon. It just takes a little time after joining the forum.
The health experts will be along in a little while. As a UK based forum it's pretty early there.

Unfortunately sanseveria is poisonous, if it was this plant. I would try to see a vet asap.

We are in the eastern timezone so it’s pretty late here i will look for vets in the morning her behavior so far is normal she had some veggies and fruits after eating the plant she’s doing her usual this happened around 6-7pm it’s currently 12am i saw a few past posts of people going through something similar and then saying That their piggies were fine after some time but my mind still isn’t at ease
