Hi all,

One of my girls can't seem to gain weight. She is a small pig (680g-700g) compare to my other one (800g) but no matter how much veggies I give her, she just doesn't really gain weight. I even gave them more veggies so she can at least gain some more weight but nothing really worked. She used to be around 740g iirc but since her last health problems she lost some weight and that's it.

I tried feeding her some critical care twice a day and she will gain maybe like 20g after that but if I stopped, she will go back to around 670g.

P.S she is her normal self, happy, and still eating like normal. Droppings are normal too.

Is this normal? Anything I can do?

Veggies aren’t how piggies gain weight as it isn’t the main source of food (veg is only around 15%). Hay is 75-80% of their daily food intake and is what will make them maintain and/or gain weight.
Overdoing veggies may cause her to not eat enough hay which will affect her ability to gain weight

If she is maintaining at that weight and has a good heft, then she is most likely absolutely fine
