My guinea pig, S'more, lives outside because my mom and dad think it will start smelling and that it will attract mice!

here are my ideas:

I will buy and pay with my money: http://piggybedspreads.com/

put a bowl of baking soda to prevent too much smell.

My questions:

They won't let me have another guinea pig: what should I tell them (I know they get lonely!)

can I use an outdoor cage inside?

They won't let me buy a run because i have the top of one of those pet store cages... what do i tell them?

How will I get the Coroplast and cc cubes? (In England)

Guinea pigs will smell if you don't clean them regularly, but if you do there isn't a problem. I keep 7 girls in a C+C cage in our front room, I have to clean out properly every other day with spot cleans in between time.
Plus guinea pigs are herd animals and need a companion of their own, cleaning two out is no different than cleaning one out, plus you get the enjoyment of seeing them interact with one another which one can't do.
If this is your hobby can you not agree with your parents to do some chores around the house to raise the money to buy a run for you piggie.

First of all an indoor cage will only smell if you don't clean it out regularly. I clean my two girls C&C cage out every 2 days and it smells fine, I do spot cleans in-between. If the cage is clean it won't attract mice and you should tell them Guinea Pigs are very sociable creatures and need other Guinea Pigs. Also if you go on the housing section you can see where the materials for C&C's can be bought.

Attract mice?!
