My Outdoor Boars Will Be Wintering Inside!

Hubby has been very anti having the boys inside for the winter but my 7year old and I have worn him down. His main objection was that he may be allergic to them so I offered to buy in extra antihistamines - I'm kind like that.....

I did consider a C&C but I doubt it will work in the space they are going into, it's a corridor between my kitchen and utility room which has half glass doors at each end and a radiator so they should be warm enough there and get plenty of light. I ordered a ferplast 120cm cage last night and a stand so hopefully they will be installed by the weekend.

I'm now having strange urges to look at fleece

nasal sprays for alergies work really well. Mr Bubblegum ans I both have asthema, him more than me and the piggies dobt bothee us at all with it, but dont take it for a couple of days and we sneeze non stop lol. The hay still gets to us a little bit but we are getting used to it.

He lived perfectly well with a cat for 10 years, so I think he'll be fine! He also doesn't have anything to do with them at all or go near them, he just likes to make a token protest over nothing every now and again. I let him think he's made a decision every now and again

So glad your boys are coming inside for the winter. I have the same cage you are getting and think they are fab. As for fleece, its definitely the way to go. I'm sure your hubby will come round, who can resist the charms of a cute piggie! Let us know how things go.

Its so funny, since I brought the boys in my OH keeps chatting about their funny ways, they are really amusing him. Think they are slowly working their magic on him and it doesn't know it - sucker!

Excellent! I don't think there is a decent person who would fail to fall for a guinea pigs charm given the chance to watch and interact with them.

I've noticed my hubby spends a lot of time loitering in the doorway watching the boys since they have come in! These men are not as immune to piggy charm as they make out!
