image.webp Since loosing Alby I have tried to pair up my boys as I have 3. Fudge and peanut fell out so were separated and lived side by side. I have Buddy too (Albys ex cagemate) I tried without success to bond Buddy with peanut and then Buddy with Fudge. Peanut was like a beast possessed trying to leap out the pen to get away and Fudge just attacked Buddy. So I have 3 single boars. In order for them all to have a neighbor to interact with I've put them into an L shaped c&c. Each piggie in a 2x3 as any bigger I can't get to open the window. I know it's probably not ideal but I can't cope with 6 piggies. And they each seem OK with their own space. I will hopefully be adding lofts to Peanut and Buddy's cage. (Fudge is nearly 5 so keeping him one level.)

It's a shame they don't get on, must be tough to have 3 separate cages and piggies. Looks like a great set up for them though :D

Yes it's really tough. I was crying yesterday as I wanted them to get along so badly. It took ages to get the cages set up right. As when Peanut was in cage beside Buddy, Peanut was making a really strange Growling noise and chattering loudly at Buddy. So I had to put Fudge beside Buddy and Peanut Beside Fudge (he tolerates Fudge through the bars.) it's fun having boars. Lol.
