I unfortunately had to separate my 2 rescue piggies, the fighting got a lot worse and Finn was hurt. After separating, Finn seemed a lot happier and didn't even look for Oreo. So I researched getting a new friend for Oreo as I could tell he was lonely and I read it would be best to get a baby piggy for him and today I picked up Yoshi! He's 8 weeks old and the bonding went so well. I was really nervous but they both seemed so happy, Yoshi kept going over to Oreo and didn't seem to mind the dominant behaviour, lots of happy sounding squeaks! The difference between Oreo and Finn and Oreo and Yoshi is crazy. Definitely seem like a better match. Oreo keeps cuddling Yoshi and squeezing himself into small spaces to be with him.

Anyway, so thought I'd share a couple of pics of Yoshi.

This is his funny shaped ear, he was just born like that.

Oreo is too big to fit in here and his butt is hanging out the end! But he cuddled up with Yoshi. (Oreo and Yoshi are outdoors in a hutch as I just don't have space indoors for 3 piggies)

how cute they are! and Yoshi has a face which looks so similar to my Calipso when she was young! you are having a great luck with this bonding!:luv:

So good. What about Finn? How's he getting on?

Finn is doing really well. Just trying to decide what to do about getting him a new friend now. Planned to have 2 piggies and could end up with 4! I'm nervous about it though because he's so much more confident now he's on his own but I don't want to deprive him of a piggy friend.

Yoshi indeed a really lovely piggy, and how fabulous you now have two happily bonded piggies.
I'm sure you will find a nice friend to suit Finn's pigsonality.

Lovely photo's.

I hope you get someone for him. He's so cute. I thought my Groucho had big eyebrows, but Finn's are even bigger. lol

Omg so cute! That is some crazy hair Vali has! Unfortunately he wouldn't be the right fit for me, it mentions needing an experienced owner and I've only been a piggy owner for a month and it also says not suitable for families with children and I have a child. Such a lovely piggy though.

Shame. I never read his story. He is a wee smasher though. Wish I had space but I can't afford to use up the space I have until I'm sure my three won't fall out. I read someone the other day had two from birth and they fell out at a year old!
