my new piggy palace !

what a clever husband i have :)) he has built me a wonderfull piggy palace for my 2 boys and 2 girls ! the boys have the bottom section with ramp up to first floor (separated down the middle due to fighting !) the girls live together on the top floor (with a slightly higher raised corridor to the other side) when the boys are eventually neutered each will be paired with one of the girls and the cage will be redesigned for 2 pairs rather than 3 sets ! hope you like it as much as my piggys do !:))

........ oh, just to mention its not housed in my house ! its in our fully insulated shed ! just thought someone may think what a tip my front room looked lol :))
 
Wow that's amazing.

How long did it take him? Was he very proud when it was finished? he certainly deserves a treat for it.:))

it was built in two stages, the boys home came first as we needed to separate them but didnt want them to be isolated from each other ! the boys home took about 3 hours all said. as the girls still lived in a hutch in the garden, we felt sorry for them and wanted them to be cosy inside too :(|) so this week we bought some more grids and he designed the upper section so it could go on top of the boys to save space and have them all so they could hear each other and interact in some way together, it had to be built so i could still access the boys areas for cleaning and getting them out for the run. the girls section probably took a couple of hours to do. feel very happy for them now ! my husband has definatley scored some brownie points and i agree he deserves a treat ! thanks for your lovely comments x
 
Ooo that fabulous I cant wait to get started on building my own C+C cage unfortantly it wont look as fabulous as this :P
 
Fantastic! And I'm not at all jealous of all these C&C cages! grrrrgrrrr LOL!
