Suzie is an ex racing greyhound she is 11yrs old now we have had her 7yrs after she was found beaten and starved walking the streets...

she loves all animals and wound never hurt a fly even though she was a racer..

some greyhounds have a very bad chase instinct and others are not that interested..

have to say she doesnt like cats but thats the only animal she doesnt like

i do think greyhounds have a bad rap put on them and there is many that will live happy with small animals even after racing and my sweet suzie is proof of it :) x

Both dogs are absolutely gorgeous Clairelove.

She is such a cutiex)

I love that she turned your greyhound into a jungle gym and suzie is just like "yup, this little fuzzy thing is climbing on me. It's all good":(|)

Awwww she is adorable x)x)
Love the greyhound too xx
I love looking at older dogs and puppies together it always make me laugh, don't know why but it does.

Aww my mother has a king charles, they have such a sweet nature. Bet the dogs get on together really well don't they? You have your hands full at the moment are you planning any more pets:))

OMG! She is adorable!

Funny as i was only researching CKC puppies last night as i really want one!

How is she with the piggies? Do they hide away from her? i guess its early days. I hear really good things about them - so adorable!

Awww they are sooo cute together.

One interesting thing I heard a while back about Cavalier King Charleses was that King Charles II was so enamoured with them that he reportedly preferred playing and hunting with his beloved "Royal Spaniels" rather than tending to matters of state. He gave the breed the royal title of King Charles Spaniel and enacted a law allowing the dog in all public places, including the Houses of Parliament. The law is still in place today apparently. His supporters were called Cavaliers, as were his loyal dogs. So I believe they can go anywhere if you live in the UK unlike most dogs (although health and safety may take over where food is concerned ?). It may be that they are allowed within Royal premises (not shops) like houses of parliament, buckingham palace etc. But apparently the law does still stand.

Great dogs and lots of fun

xx

they are really good with other pets and children this is the reason we chose a cav they have such a high mark on been great with other pets and children, she sees my guineas all the time and isnt phased by them, i will keep letting her see them so she grows up with them and likes them in yrs to come when we havent got suzie:( we would like to foster for our local cat rescue and have already been aproved for it because i know the lady that is the rehoming officer so it was important she gets on with other animals

you can get caviler king Charles OR king charles caviler, king charles are smaller i believe x
