Anyone who has ordered cage liner's they will be posted monday yay!

Oooooh brilliant! Well done! Is it two separate areas or is there a ramp? If Jenny can successfully help me to bond Finley with the girls i'd like to attach my two levels but mine is 3 grids high! I'd just need a very long ramp so it wasn't too steep but the piggies would have so much room!

I like your hay area too, i'm not happy with mine yet!

Thats looks fab, your pigs are so lucky :)

I have said if you need a hand i'm happy to help you make some thing's

It's one cage and i have the answer to your ramp problem, I got 2metres of square guttering from b and q for £2 and I'm going to make a padded fleece cover and make me a new ramp, i currently use cat scratching boards but they are £10 each and they do go mouldy after a while, i will let you know how it turns out tho

I know hun, I just feel like the cage is very boring for my girls. Its all on one level and no matter what I put in it, it looks like the same old cage :(

Look on the bright side, you will have a job soon and some extra pennie's to get them a new toy or fix your sewing machine, and i think we all get bored of the cage's cos i change mine nearly every week! and i bet they get alot more time spent with them out the cage than mine do it's hard to spend time with them when you have 8, i think there's always something we wish we could do better thats what make's us great piggie slave's:))

Yeah your right! my piggies aren't getting much attention at the moment though as we have the new puppy and he takes up alot of time, so I'm a bit of a bad piggie Mum at the moment!
I'm trying to think of how to make a second layer in my cage to make it more fun for them but not sure how to do it. I don't even know when I get paid yet, so can't really plan anything but I did get a £100 back to work bonus from the job centre :))

Correx? b and q were using some as a box its quite useful for things like that or make a hammock to go across the whole width and maybe a hanging tunnel:))

I just can't think how I would attach the correx to the cage as the cage is quite flimsy. I've tried a hammock and they chewed the straps so that was the end of that, they had it up for all of about a day! It would be so much easier if they didn't try to chew almost everything. Thanks for the ideas though, I will have a think :)

Oh ok, excellent idea! Looking forward to hearing how it goes! I'm just worried it would be a bit steep as it would need to go up three levels of C&C grids! But then i thought i could make a little ledge half way up and then have the ramp going up the other way...hope that makes sense! Anyhow i need the piggies to get on before i'll attempt any of this! :))

Its got low sides but a ledge would be good, and just have a longer ramp to make it less steep

Is the square guttering definitely big enough even for a fat piggie bum? I like the idea of using that for a ramp :))

where the correx used to be in the building yard they are in ful lengths and odds and ends
