Just thought I'd let you see my C & C cage, which is situated in the spare bedroom! The piggies seem to like it, and love to rush up and down the tunnel to the 'landing'. I have had no luck with a litter tray in a corner, I was using wood litter, but they didn't go in it once. Then I put some hay in it, and they promptly went into it and peed and pooped like mad, charming. So I have put some woodshavings in today and it looks like they may use it. I am constantly cleaning poops up as I am sure most of you are. I usually have the hay in the hay rack up on the landing, which keeps the downstairs a bit tidier, however, I sometimes just put a load in the middle of the main floor, as I like to see all five of them eating together. Every morning I make up a big salad on a large round plate, and they all gather round it to eat. I have 4 females, Moomin, Caramel, Winnie and Minnie (all rescue pigs) and the only boy, Ronnie, who is a fruity little man, but very sweet. The tunnel is a great success as piggies are nervous of heights I find, but cannot resist a dark tunnel! I got the grids from Screwfix, who were very helpful and delivered to my home. I had waited for ages for B & Q to get them in stock, and they were entirely opposite to Screwfix, very unhelpful. I got the correx from a chap my husband does business with, a sign company. You may notice some washing pegs on the top of the cage, this is to hold fleece in place as sometimes I think they would like a bit of privacy, and I have a sick piggie at the moment and draping a fleece across her 'pyramid' bed, keeps draughts at bay, and means she is snuggly warm.

I named her Moomin (she is the white one at the top of the ramp) as she looks like Moomintroll....she is a lovely girl, very nice towards the newest baby (Minnie). Even Minnies mummy Winnie is mean towards her. But Moomin and Caramel are very tolerant of Minnie, who rushes everywhere and is very vocal. Ronnie the boy is my avatar picture with the Mr Potato Head spectacles on! He is so sweet, loves cuddles and kisses, and is always first at the breakfast dish for any fruit, he loves apples, grapes and bananas.

oh wow its great how much did it cost hun
Well, with the grids & correx approximately £60.00. Then on top of that there's the cost of the fleeces, IKEA's and B&Q's were cheapest. The tunnel I already had for their outdoor hutch, which I got off cosycavies. I can't remember how much that cost, but overall the cage itself was in the £60 mark. Screwfix I would recommend, the grids are very strong.
