So today I went shopping with my mum and we went into pets at home for some carefresh bedding and went over to the adoption area. We looked inside and saw a pink eyed piggy (my favourite). And my mum started saying " oh it's got pink eyes, go and ask if we can have a look". So they got her out and we both fell in love with her. So my mum says "are we having her" baring in mind my mum always says no more piggies! I think she's got the piggy bug! She is 2 years old and was brought in because the kids got bored! She is very nervous bless her. Here she is her name is buttons but If anyone has any name suggestions I'd love to hear them as I usually pick human names and would like to change it :)

Because I have 6 now 7 piggies my mum gets confused with all their names and calls all my girls Marjorie, I have no idea why because I have never had a piggy called that but now mums saying call her Marjorie so I don't forget her name  I love the suggestions, keep them coming :)

Thank you for your suggestions they are all lovely names. My mum has put her foot down and said she is now called Marjorie :)) I suppose my mum can have her way this time seen as though this is the first time in 12 years she has entered pets at home (I had to literally drag her in to help me choose new bedding for the pigs) because when me and my brother were younger we got 2 piggies from there and one became ill and they asked if we wanted to swap him for a different one! Mum went absolutely mental and swore she would never enter another pets at home because they did not care about Henry (poorly piggy). I don't usually go in there either and always say how much I hate the shop but I wanted to see the different verities of bedding they had. I chose carefresh, and have just cleaned all the piggies out so I hope it's as good as it says on the packet :)

I would have a lot more respect for the shop if they only had animals in the adoption area rather than the actual store selling animals.

She is a very pretty piggy. With her lilac colouring I'd be tempted to call her Lilac or Lavender. But Marjorie is an awesome name, too.

Very pretty

Nothing wrong with Marjorie it was my Gran's name! Great name for a piggie too! She is completely gorgeous btw. I'd love another one but with 5 when I originally bought 2 (Velvet was pregnant and had 3 on board so it was buy 2 get 3 free) my hubby has put his foot down and said no more. I can't even twist his arm to get another hamster!

Thank you :) I like Marjorie and think it suits her. How lovely of you to keep all her babies, how old are they? Haha well if my mum can come around to the idea of more there's hope for anyone lol but we won't be getting anymore now 7 is definitely enough :) x

Hahaha I had to let her have her own way didn't I, She's been waiting for that day to come when she has a real Marjorie :) it really suits her and mum has said we can call her eevie- Marjorie so I'm not the one who gets confused by all the names :))

The babies are 1 on 5 May so now fully grown up and completely gorgeous. My son wouldn't let me give up the babies. Luckily we bought a double decker hutch from PAH that was an ex-display and going cheap and we didn't have to put it together so bonus all round!

Gorgeous! My piggies were from the adoption bit at pets at home too. Marjorie is a fab name! Although is she still calling all your guineas Marjorie or just Marjorie? x

Marjorie is lovely, both in name and in looks. Glad she is settling and is not so afraid now. She looks like a real sweet-heart :)

She still calls them all Marjorie, so because I'm getting confused we are calling new Marjorie, Eevie -Marjorie. She calls Francis good Marjorie, (because my mum trained her to go in the carrier when she gets them in from the garden) Florence is self black Marjorie. Peach is mini Marjorie and honey is mini mini Marjorie lol. She just loves that name :) she is lovely and so beautiful
