@VickiA - this is a duplicate post
I got them when they were 8 months and now there just over one. And there in a good size run 4ftX4 and there have climbing parts but they do chase each other’s to climb on each other so maybe it is that.It could be bite marks from his cage mate. How old are they, how long have they been together and what size cage do they have?
Yer it’s the best thing to do so u don’t have to worry about them. I personally think it’s mites there’s to much to be biting.A vet will be able to give you answers.
I have had one guinea pig in a cage with 2 others and only 1 has shown symptoms of mites.
He was diagnosed by a vet, and I treated all 3 pigs just to be sure.
Yer I’ll be taking him. I’m a softy with my pigs hahaHope Gus is ok and a vet can give you a proper diagnosis quickly
Mounting and chasing is normal dominance behaviour. All the best with the vet.I got them when they were 8 months and now there just over one. And there in a good size run 4ftX4 and there have climbing parts but they do chase each other’s to climb on each other so maybe it is that.
