Hi everyone,

I've only made one post before introducing myself & in that I mentioned my old piggie who was living out her golden days, she has shown no signs of suffering at all over the past few months and has been coping well on syringe feeding, metacam and eating the odd bit of lettuce/grass/hay when she felt like it. However, I think tonight will be the night my little girl crosses the rainbow bridge. I want to thank you all for your support on my introducing me post and I hope you all keep pepper in your thoughts. I've given her evening syringe feed and popped her back in the shed with her sisters where she is happiest after a prolonged cuddle and kiss goodbye. I still don't believe she's suffering, just that she has had enough. My little girl fought so hard and I honestly think I did everything I could for her. I hope she is still with me later when I check on them before bed, but I believe she will drift off in her sleep.

Thanks and big hugs, K. ❤❤❤

Oh I'm so sorry this must be absolutely devasting, but just know that if she does pass you did everything you could and she went knowing she was loved. Huge hugs to you at this hard time xx

Thank you so much. I’ve been in tears every night for the past month or so as I knew her time was coming. It’s just so hard knowing she won’t be around. I also hope I’ve done the right thing leaving her with her sisters. I just think she’d prefer it that way x

Thank you for all your kind messages and wishes, pepper crossed rainbow bridge last night. Heart broken doesn't even cut it - we loved her so much xx

I am ever so sorry for your loss. It is very difficult to see a beloved one making the journey to the Rainbow Bridge.
Even when you can brace for it; the actual loss is never less painful because every relationship is unique and special; and some bonds are closer than others.

I've just lost my old lady Heulwen (Welsh for Sunshine) on Saturday to organ failure, so I feel for you! :(

I’m so sorry, she definitely sounded like a little fighter and an amazing little girl. I still massively miss my (favourite ever piggy) Rupert and it’s been two months now, but every day gets a bit easier and I just try to think of the nice times and how lovely he was. It’s really raw for you.
Maybe a nice plant or tree/bush planted there would be a nice reminder of her and her brother xx hope you feel better soon x
