Well, my boy is at the stage where he could climb out of his cot and damage himself. So, out to buy a bed ASAP. Went to mothercare, picked up a junior bed. Bought it home. Put him to bed at 1845. Lots of screaming and sobbing. Returned him twice back to his bed, and he was asleep within 1hr 1/2. I am so proud of my boy. :)

Aahhh bless i remember that stage !

In fact when we bought my sons first bed he fell asleep on the chair before we even set it up so he woke up in his new bed !

I remember it well

my twins had to go into beds at 10 months as we couldn't keep them in it. they kept climbing out little monkeys

i am sure each nigh will get easier for him and you

If he is this good or better most nights, i'l be a happy mummy. He really was a little treasure. Wonder if he'l be calling my by the door in the morning. He has a gate there so he cant get out the room.
Saying that, just heard a 'thud' and "mummy". Poor mite fell out. Only about a foot off floor luckly. Lots of pillows now as we dont have a proper rail yet, just a short thing at the head end. Off to see if anywhere open tomorrow to buy one!

Aww I remember those days :) The 1st big boy bed :)

Congratulations little man, or should that now be big man? :) :-*

Just put him down for his nap. He didn't get out once. I'm so pleased and really proud. He really isn't my baby anymore. :'( ;D

Awww.
Yes, he does look like a little boy now rather then a big baby.

My 1st son Bailey was fine went into a big bed no worries, I am dreading Josh going into one though, he hates going to bed!
