My Humbug prefers nipping to licking..

Out of all the piggies I have ever owned (and there's a lot!).. She's proved to be the most difficult when it comes to showing affection.. she loves to jump in my arms, but if I'm not quick enough, she'll nip me in the process! I have little bite marks on my neck, where she's 'affectionately' grabbed me..
I really can't work her out, she never licks, though she's more than happy to put her front paws on my hand and just sit on my knee.. She's also a very active piggy, keeps me on my toes, as she's worked out how to open doors if they're not shut properly, and gives me the run around in the other rooms..
when she's had enough of catch me if you can, she'll turn around and jump in my arms....

I know how you feel as Marble is always trying to bite my lips! It really hurts and I have no idea why she does this. I thought she may need the loo but that is not the reason.

Humbug sounds like my Marmite! She likes to nibble too. Like Humbug, she's very clever and has mastered the stairs (well, going up anyway!) and is always the first to appear in the hutch to see what I'm doing when moving anything around. Once settled she loves a fuss though and lays flat out for ages but can be very grumpy and seems to enjoy chattering her teeth for no apparent reason rolleyes
