My guinea pig is 11 months old and has never had any skin issues but for the past 2 days his toe has been swollen there's no blood or cuts on the area it's on his back leg he walks normal but the toe is getting bigger I can't afford to go to the vet so I was wondering if anyone knows what this is .

Welcome to the forum!

Is it just one toe? Please get a vet to take a look at this as the infection could get into the bone and you could be faced with expensive surgery to sort the problem. Many years ago I had a guinea pig who had an infection in her toes and she ended up losing part of her foot.

Mine had / has a swollen toe, took her to the vet and she said keep an eye on it.. Felt better just for getting it looked at.. It's the same now, weeks later, doesn't bother her when it's touched or anything ... Your vets might do a health check which shouldn't be too much money..
