So my guinea pigs do so many weird things one that concerns me is them standing on their back legs because their body proportions seem to make it not safe to do that and also they sleep a lot of the day, they are very active in the mornings and evenings is that normal because I feel like they sleep too much, also they always want to go in the same hideout and I don’t know why because they have 3 hideouts and a warm pouch thing they can go in

It all sounds pretty normal to me. Somepigs do like to really stretch up.....View attachment 263756
Can it ever be harmful for them? One of mine fell on his back doing that and he freaked out so I get nervous when he does that but also he has done more harmful things to himself like when he fell off a hideout and almost bent himself in half they just concern me a lot because they are weird little things

it’s not harmful. They wouldn’t do it if they couldn’t.

It’s nice they want to go in the same hide - most boars don’t snuggle up so you should enjoy that your boys do!
Just make sure all the hides have two exits so they can get out freely without a door being blocked by the other pig

Hi

Your piggies are doing normal things.

Guinea pigs are crepuscular; i.e. most active on the mornings and evenings when temperatures are at their most moderate as they have evolved in thick underground. They usually sleep/nap during the middle of the day and night or just browse quietly nearby their denning area.

Standing up in when everything is happening about your head level is also not unusual for pet piggies.
