Sorry for the title but my guinea pig Craig is a male guinea pig and lives with his buddy toe he had another bud but had a falling out after a couple months after we introduced toe but we decided to let them see each other for a little bit and let them eat together of course under supervision and on a new area with no scents from Craig or Louie (spelled differently for privacy reasons) and Louie attacked Craig which was kinda weird because Craig was the more territorial one a day later Craig was on the couch but this time he smelled Louie and started teeth chattering and then his butthole started to pulsate and hang around when he ran around any idea why it’s doing that. His butt doesn’t do that but his buddy toe and Louie do when when they see the girl pigs

Is it that he’s rumble strutting. Have you now bonded them into pairs? If I understand correctly you had a quartet of boars and they all lived together? Or you had a trio until there was upset?

Be careful about housing the boars in the same room as the sows. Their scent can cause a disruption to the boar bond. Ideally they should be housed in a separate room. If that’s not possible, then house them above the sows. And always handle/deal with the boars first.

Please also change your location to a country, rather than just Earth. Saves us asking you in future if you need help 🙃

I have 3 boys and yes Craig rumbles all the time and do you mean putting the cage above the sows because there’s an opening above the cage where we usually feed them and pick them up for checkups, and is there an exception if the boys are at least a couple feet from them and rarely see them or can they still smell them

It would still be best to house them above the sows. The smell can travel if they’re on the same level.

You will have to either find a friend for the lone boar or neuter him to live with the sows. The last resort is to have him living next to the boar pair so he can still have that interaction. Where is he housed at the moment?

Lastly, if they’re not living together then you can’t give them time together, whether supervised or not.

I forgot to mention that I got the girls after the 3 boys broke up and he lives with the girls but not in the same cage we’re planning to neuter him in the future

Adding sows into a room where a pair of boars live is not recommended due to the fact that smelling the sows can cause a boar pair (particularly if they are teenagers) to fall out. If they are in the same room, do be very careful to ensure you always handle the boar pair first so you don’t risk transferring sows smells onto them. if you can’t stack the cages, ensure they are as far apart as possible so smells don’t transfer so easily.

Don’t let the boar pair and the single boar out at the same time. They must be kept separate at all times. A trio of boars doesn’t work and piggies who can no longer live together, should not have any physical contact. Allowing the pair physical time with the single piggy to them is a bonding session which at worse, has the ability to also break the relationship between the current boar pair meaning they fight and also end up single.

It’s good your single boar can be neutered And bonded with the girls once he has had his sis week post surgery wait to become infertile. Also ensure yor cage is big enough for a trio (180x60cm).
