I've had 2 guinea pigs for about 7months now! (There 8months old in total). And they seem really different.
Anyway onto the problem. One of the guinea pigs doesnt like getting stroked in the hutch? When i get it out and sit down with her she'll let me stroke her all day long but if i even touch her fur while shes in her hutch she legs it away!

When shes drinking i often try stroking her and shes fine with it but if shes not eating and i try to stroke her she'll run!

I wondered if you have any tips on how to make us bond more? And so she lets me stroke her in her hutch.

Thanks in advance.

Sounds a ok to me! Most of mine are like this, fine on my lap but run a mile in the cage ;D Timmy is the opposite, I can stroke him in the cage but hates lap time ;D

My pigs have never let me stroke them in the cage, so I'd assume your bonded already :)

my piggies are same aswell one will let me touch them in cage and other wont, but they both love cuddles when they out. i think mine will always be like that, but its fine though and nothng to worry about O0

It all comes with time and patience all of my piggies are used to me 'mauling' them, so they all come to me when I open the door of their cage, Bully in particular loves a tickley under the chin! I have two new babies (6wks) and am already getting one to enjoy tickely under the chin in his cage too.

It will happen in time the more time you spend with them the better, I'm always handling / inspecting my piggies, hand feeding them bits of food, and generally laying on the floor with them, it gets them used to you!

Good luck!
