My guinea pig squeaks when i pet him

My guinea pig adobo squeaks when I pet him. It's not a hungry squeak, it's more like a soft squeak? I don't know how else to describe it. And it's not purring
When he's sleeping though and I try to pet him he kicks my hand with his foot So I stop after

So what does the soft squeaking mean? I can try to get a video of it if "soft squeaking" isn't enough description

The issue with a written description of a sound is that somebody else may interpret it differently. You also have to take your piggy’s body language into account - making a sound while being stroked may be through contentment or it could be annoyance but the body language would be a way to determine which one it may be.

Him pushing your hand away is a definite, he doesn’t want to be touched.
