My guinea pig makes whimpering noises while 'cleaning' himself down there

I've had my two my guinea pigs for just over a year and one of them has been sucking his private parts for a few months. I know that licking themselves is how they might clean themselves but he makes very loud whimpering moaning sounds when he does this. I know that he's not just eating his poo from his bum because I've seen his parts in his mouth while he does this. My other guinea pig never does this. I just would like to know whether he's simply cleaning himself or if he is actually pleasuring himself. Can anyone let me know?

Hiya. I’ve had 8 boars in total over the years and have only ever seen one of them actually cleaning their privates once. I’m not sure what your boy is doing. I’d be tempted to have a vet check him over just to make sure he’s not uncomfortable down there.
