The ledge in question is not extremely high however I know that their bones are not overly strong, there are ramps for her to use, which she does but she also likes jumping off the ledge. Should I remove the ledge or is this normal behaviour? (there are two ledges and she currently jumps from the first, the second she will use the ramp)

Some piggies are more adventurous than others - generally they are ground roaming climbers and not natural climbers. One of mine climbs on the roof of their hidey houses, but the other prefers his feet firmly on the ground.

Perhaps you could add a picture of the ledges in question

the ledge may be dangerous for your piggy, could you Attach a photo of the ledge so that we can see how high it is?

Please see the attached picture.

Athena has never jumped from the top and will always use the stairs so I really don’t know why she decides to jump off the lower ledge sometimes 😩

It doesn’t look too high. If she couldn’t do it, then she wouldnt. I wouldn’t be concerned.
