My girlfriend was holding him, and he started nibbling on her necklace. Before I could get him away, he bit through the string and got a tiny bead (A little bit smaller than a BB) in his mouth. I tried to get it out of his mouth, but he swallowed it. He's been acting fine, no choking noises or anything, but I'm worried that he may not be able to pass it.

Anyone else run into anything like this? Any suggestions other than taking him to a vet?

How big was the bead? If it was bigger than his end ::) then I'd take him to a vets

I would take him to the vets first thing tomorrow.Unless he passes the bead over night. If it is left it could cause an obstruction.
