My Guinea had a tilt head 3 days ago . I went to the vet but the vet is not specialized for small exotic pet. The vet prescribed some herbal inflamin cream and a syrup. No major issue he found. After medication he was doing well . On the fourth day he again started tilting his head but this time , tilt is to the opposite side i.e to the left.I consulted again to the vet, he adviced to get some vitamin c and an ear drop POMISOL . This time he is having a more tilt head as comparatively earlier. He is unable to sleep .Am afraid if any major issues he is having. Please help me.

Do you have access to a more knowledgeable vet for a diagnosis? Head tilt can be caused by a few things but having a hands on check by a knowledgeable vet is important.

I hope he is ok

We could try and help more if we knew roughly where you live.
This will allow members to recommend a more piggy save vet, which can often be hard to find.
I hope you can find a vet who can help as it is clear you love your boy very much.

I’m sorry you’re stuck in such a difficult situation. I’ve had a quick look and the ear drops are for treating bacterial and fungal infections. Did the vet check the ears of your piggy? And was he prescribed any painkiller I’ve no advice I’m afraid. I hope your piggy gets some proper help soon.

PS please can you edit your profile and add your location 🙂
