My Guinea Pig Has Changed Personality!

Hi everyone,

Long time lurker and first time poster!
My 7 month old guinea pig has had a sudden change in her personality. She has gone from being a cuddly and placid piggie to a right grumpy little thing! She used to be perfectly happy coming out of the cage and being stroked and cuddled for long periods of time. However of late, whenever she comes out, she immediately starts tugging on clothes as if to say "take me home!". This has been going on for about a month.
Does anyone know why this might be? I would love for it to be some kind of teenage mood swing that will go away! More importantly what can I do to get her to enjoy lap time again?

Your girl is obviously not quite happy with being cuddled anymore. You can learn to tell her that you are the boss, but that you are also loving her in this thread here: How To Understand Guinea Pig Instincts And Speak Piggy Body Language
