Hello! I'm sorta confused My guinea pig (Gilbert).Still eats Hay. He's very active But his favorite foods like lettuce and bell peppers he seems to not like anymore he's not as interested in veggies as he used to be. He is starting to enjoy different veggies. Is he just getting burt out of his favorite foods, he's usually picky!

As long as he is still eating plenty of hay and his weekly weight checks show he is gaining or maintaining his weight, then that is good.
Their tastes for veggies can change - he may be fed up of having the same things and wants to try something else

Thanks so much, he is still eatings lots of hay and he is maintaining his weight (I'll have to continue checking) I'll try some different veggies.

Hi, my piggies change eating habits alot...they go from wanting to consume bags of a particular veg to turning their nose up at it...it seems normal to them...they still get everything they need in terms of their nutrition...sometimes ours even change the hay they like so we always have 3 different kinds in...ive turned to just mixing them together and letting them pick which bits they're eating today...as long as your piggy is still happy and healthy then it should be OK...
