Ive only just got my guinea pigs and after the first couple of weeks I noticed this red mark, He seems to be off as well.
Can someone let me know if this is something to be worried about or is this normal.

Hello and welcome to the forum
That area above his bum is the end of his spine or tail bone. It’s that spot guinea pigs also have a grease gland which produced grease which keeps the coat weatherproofed and also is used to scent their fur when they groom. It can very occasionally become infected, or they can produce a little too much and their coat can become a bit clogged up. If it looks sore and he “is off it” then I would arrange a vet appointment x

Hi!

Your boy has an overactive grease gland, which also looks somewhat sore as it shouldn't be as pink as this. I would recommend to have it vet checked.
