I have a guinea pig that is around 6 months old, named Scruffles. I was holding him and I was standing (I am five feet tall), and I was about to keep him on the floor for floor time, but I had hardly bent down and he sort of jumped, and fell. He is not showing any unusual behavior, but I was wondering if I should worry

Please keep an eye on him. Things to look out for are broken teeth or any signs of broken limbs. Personally, I'd always advise you'd get your guinea checked by a vet in these circumstances - just to be sure. :)

Keep an eye on him and see a vet promptly if he is showing any symptoms - spinal injuries can take time to manifest.
Hopefully he is fine!

Thank you for your advice :) I'll take him to the vet.

If he is usually mobile and chipper self today, I would not worry. Spine problems usually manifest within 48 hours, but there are usually signs of problems and a noticeable deterioration before that. The same goes for any internal injuries.

He isn't showing any signs of injury, he is pretty jolly and active. He is not limping or anything either, he seems okay (at least to me). But I'll take him to the vet with my other guinea pig, who I am taking anyways. Thanks for your reply!
