My Girls' Cage

Here is a pic of the girls' newly cleaned cage. The piggies themselves are still in the pen. What do you think? There is some room for zoomies, but there is more space in the pen.

It looks a bit bare, but the girls like it. I am using Aubiose over a thin layer of Fitch, to support the puppy pads underneath. Both girls are currently doing Zoomies around their pen.

I think it looks great. It doesn't look bare to me so I wouldn't worry, you were used to it with a different set of stuff in so its bound to look a bit strange to you until you get used to it. Are your girls having fun going round and exploring?

I'd be interested to hear how you get on with the bedding combination. Please will you tag me when you do an update on it (as I mentioned before I'm someone who likes to try out lots of different types of bedding and I'm always interested in a new combination like you're trying)?

That will not be a problem, PiggySmitten. I'm trying it this way because Aubiouse is half the price of the Fitch and people have good things to say about it. The Aubiouse is about 1.5 cm thick in the cage and It is barely noticeable from the bale. Next week I am going to omit the Fitch and compare the two ways to see which is drier. I am only going to poo clean this week.

I use aubiouse and love it.The top stays dry because the wee soaks right through.
