Today was the day! This morning I collected my 3 girls and brought them home. I'm over the moon right now. The last few bits for their cage arrived today as well, so it's all done. Got a few quick pics of them before letting them settle.

Let me introduce, baby Eileen, the one eyed piggy!

Aunty Edna is huge... They are sure she is not pregnant so maybe it's just baby weight from her last litter? She had 6 babies!!

Anyway, here they are together in the new cage. It's like small, medium and large piggies!

Hope you like the pics. There will be many, many more once they've settled.

Oh how exciting for you. They look lovely. The cage seems like a really good fit for them. Baby Eileen is especially cute. Looking forward to more piccies.

Pretty ladeeez  Fab looking setup too! Hope we see lots more of them!

I also hope to see more pics of this happy family! they are super cute and you were able to take amazing pics to baby Eileen; that pose makes her appear in all her beauty, despite her ill eye!
Mother and Aunt are cute, too!
And I like also the cage!:D

Thanks everyone.

There will be lots more photos. I can't wait to start giving them floor time and cuddles.

How long should I wait before starting to handle them? They are all very calm when held but I want to let them settle in. They have spent all day in the litter tray areas, munching lots of hay, so they are doing good. I have put out some food and veggies near the tray but they haven't gone near them yet.

I waited only one day! I couldn't help resisting! I think you will realise when it is the right time...for floor time I waited some days more, but there is not a rule and my piggies had lived together for 3 months yet and had been cuddled at the rescue because they lived at the home of a volunteer.:)

Hay and poop all over the litter tray end and all the veggies gone this morning! Held them each for a few mins snuggle and all were calm. Off to buy fresh veggies now and then offer them. They are much more vocal today. It's so cute!

Haha sounds like they are settling in just fine!

Oh they certainly are. Both Eva and Edna are out and about now, eating everything I put out for them and investigating all areas. Little Eileen is still in hiding. She is eating her hay but hasn't come out for veggies yet, or pellets but........ as I type this, I've just looked over and she was hanging out the litter tray, sniffing the bowl of pellets so I think she will get braver as the days pass. I guess being a baby and only having one eye makes her extra nervous. Bless her.

Awww Pedro was a handsome boy. Sorry for your loss.

I've just moved one of the bowl of pellets nearer the litter tray and Eileen sat in it and started eating. Problem is that greedy piggy Edna has now shoved her out the way and is eating them...

Going to put one of the other bowls there as well so Eileen can have some!

Aww I remember when Dennis, Christian and Meg were so small they had to sit in the food bowl :luv:

tellin them to share pointless. lol. How did Eileen lose a eye. Bless

She was born with it missing. I have also found out that mum produced a couple of one eyed babies in previous litters, all of which never made it. Eileen had 2 siblings but one died. So all that just makes her extra special

Got a few sneaky pics from the far end of the cage while Eileen was in the food bowl and Edna and Eva were exploring :D
