I just wanted to share this with everyone as I was so excited ...
I'm a new pig owner and have had my girls about 6 months. There's been so many problems, firstly with them not getting on, and then one of them became really poorly with mite. And they have been seperated for the last few weeks. My piggy that had mite is now much better after being treated and they have slowly been re introduced to each other. Yesterday I made the decision to remove the divide in their cage and try them together for the day. It went really well, and fingers crossed they'll be able to stay together now.
I just wanted to thank/recommend Glyneath Guinea Pig Rescue. Even though I haven't met Suzy, I've spoken to her a few times, and she's given lots of advice on treatment and reintroducing the girls etc.
My one girl does need a bath as she has developed some flaky skin, but hopefully this will then be the end of our problems and they'll be the best of friends.
I am one very happy piggy owner
