I'm so chuffed Iv finally done it!
After loads of time painting, I mean LOADS of time. My garden is finally finished [apart from 2 fence panels that need replacing]!

My girls are now happy in their new, better, bigger enclosure, with their new vetbed!

I ordered vetbed a couple days ago and it arrived this morning so Iv been cutting it up and lining the hutches, Iv had to paint more wood to put on the bottom of the hutches otherwise the girls would squeze under it, so that took even more time, but the outcome, I hope you'll agree is well worth it!

I have 2 of these hutches, iv put vetbed in the day area and litter tray/ storage box in the bed area with lots of hay in.

I hope you like :D

It looks great although have you considered getting a netted top for over the run area to protect from predators such as large birds, and cats ?

It looks fab :) Do you shut them in the hutches at night and do they stay in there during the winter too?

I only ask because my girls free range in a shed and I am always interested to hear from members with 'outdoor' piggies :)

We dont get any predators in the garden, the 3 dogs are always back and forth outside so nothing would dare come in lol

They are shut in at night, but are out everyday wether its sunny, raining, or snowing..of course they dont have to be out, they can stay in the hutch, but they always have the option :)

OOOOOOOooooh FANTASTIC! Such a lovely area for them to live in! I love the colour scheme too! xx>>>

it needs a cover really as cats only need to pop into your garden on the off chance and see the pigs and birds of prey will pick your piggys off 1 by 1. Please get the run covered.

In the 2 years I have lived here Iv seen a bird of prey or a cat anywhere near..there are dogs all around us outside all day so I doubt a cat would chance it :)

I best not show my girls this otherwise they will be on the first bus to your house!

Lovely dogs too! :)

Ohhhh wow its HUGE, I think a net would be a good idea just in case you're not around duringthe day but beautiful run :)

Wow its lovely so big and i love the colours. Very sweet piggies and dogs.

It reminds me of a little village - looks fab (and getting ideas ;))
I'd have to have a post with a themed name just to complete this (piggy related name of course :)))
Well done, I love it x)

you cannot possibly be watching the sky and your garden 24/7 and so cannot possibly state for fact that a cat or bird of prey have not been near your garden because of your dogs. A bird of prey is an oppurtunist and are quick they could swoop dowm snatch a piggy and be off before the dogs even noticed. A cat as you say probably wouldnt come into the garden due to the dogs but you never know, i personally wouldnt risk it if they were my piggys you can use the mesh you buy to cover fish ponds its cheap enough and it will keep piggys safe. There your piggys so you do what you feel is best but a cat fox or bird of prey arw oppurtunists and a piggy confined in a space is easy prey. Look at the fox that entered that house and attacked baby in cot? It entered a house with humans and a dog and managed to get upstairs. If an animal is hungry enough the threat of dogs wont bother them.

Ooooh check out the size of that bad boy! Haha. Looks brilliant I am so jealous!

One day I will have a house & garden.... One day!

Well done xx
