I am going to start with my very first guinea pig cage. I had Bella in here for awhile then Chloe joined her and then Chloe gave birth and then I had 2 adults and 2 babies in this cage until 3 weeks were up then I kept one baby boy in this cage and rehomed the other one.

Then I got this cage and put Chloe and Bella in it

Then I took those dividers out and used fleece then added a petstore cage on the end of it to look like this

I decided to get a 3rd one. It was blocked off for awhile while Amy was in quarantine in the right one. Then I opened it all up and it was new for all of them.

Then I changed it around to look like this

Then I turned one of the end ones so it was shaped like an L. I don't have a pigture of that one for some reason

Then I changed it to look like this

Here is a bunch of pictures as I built my first C&C cage last week.

Here is the start of my 2 story 2x5 cage for my 4 pigs. This took a full box of 17 grids and a few out of another box. I am glad I got 4 boxes.

This whole cage took 63 grids. I have 5 left over. I am glad I got 4 boxes of 17 grids in each box

Here are some better pictures. I put some fleece down so it would be easier to see.

Here is what I came up with for a ramp. I secured it with 10 zip ties so it is super sturdy.

This one shows where I plan to make the hole. It is 4 squares across each way.

We still need to get coroplast, but may be a few more weeks.

Brilliant - I love the designs you can do with C & C and a bit of imagination.
Find them easier to clean as well :)) Your piggies will love their new home :(|)

Thanks! It took me like 7 hours to build. I am going nuts here I want them to get in their new cage so bad. Plus I have 3 new things from Jens Custom Crafts I want to give them when they get into their new cage. I have 6 things from her 3 I just got.

Jens Custom Crafts ?/ Is that a piggy item seller and if so, do you have the details please - sorry, I just l-o-v-e- spoiling my little gang and have not heard of this place :(|)

http://www.jenscustomcrafts.com/ there is her website. I love her stuff and a percent of every purchase goes to a rescue each month. All her stuff is hand made. I am not sure if me or my pigs love it more. I have a hut, square bed, strawberry bed, sleeping bag, round plush bed, and a daisy bed. She is an amazing person with excellent customer service.

Love seeing all of your different set ups! Your piggies are going to love their new cage! Seven hours well spent i say!

Thank your very much! I think that was time well spent to. I just can't wait for them to be in their new cage they will just love it! I will take a bunch of pigtures.

Here it is! I told the guy to help me roll it any way even though he said he didn't think it would work and thought it would just snap. That was the first time he rolled it. I helped some and he was surprised it rolled at all and it fit in my back seat perfect! I will be going back to get another sheet sometime soon. The rest of it is up to my boyfriend. He will me marking it and scoreing it, soon I hope. Don't mind the white spots it is from my camers for some reason.

Ah wow! Thank you so much for posting all those lovely pigtures! Brilliant set up, looks like the pigs are thoroughly enjoying it! I love all the chilled out pics, your piggies are beautiful x)

Thanks! I have worked really hard on it and I'm so happy they love it. I just can't wait to finish it

Looks fab! And the pigs seem to have given it a seal of approval as well! :):):)

I made a few upgrades to the cage today.

Here you can see my storage area. It took awhile to roll up all my fleece. Also my usual hay is KM, but we are low on funds so I have kaytee for now.
DSCI0894.jpg

Here you can see the new hidey area I made them. This way it does not take away from floor space.

DSCI0895.jpg

Here is the opening to the kitchen area.
DSCI0897.jpg

Here is the kitchen area. The fleece is only there for a little while until I can get some wood stove pellets. It will work much better with them and being flat so the bowls are not tilted.

DSCI0896.jpg

I cant wait to get the bottom half done, so there will be more room for them.
