It went quite well (in the end), I've also made a snuggle sack and am going to make another, anyway my question is can i put some toy stuffing inside? the same stuff you get in the middle of pillows? to make the bottom more comfy.

its all perfectly secure i must've stitched round it about 5/6 times i just wondered if this is gonna be an issue.

i've used cotton for the sides lined with fleece and then a double layer of fleece for the bottom and just thought i'd ask before i stitch the last opening up.

Do you have any pics of the items you made? I will be making a cuddle cup for the first time at the weekend!

I've been reading about making them and I sure I read that loose stuffing will just clump up and will not be even after being washed. A sheet of wadding would be better because it can be sewn in and stay in place. I read that polycotton wadding is stiffer so the cup will remain it's shape a little better.

Anyway, I am not an expert and there are some talented people on here that make lovely stuff that I am sure will have some advice!

I hope you can post some pics!

thanks for the replies, i cant get out at the moment but i'm pretty sure i have something else i can use instead to fatten it up , i think i've actually got some lambs wool hiding somewhere in the house.

yes i'm going to take and upload some pictures tonight when i get home from work, whilst i was making it i got very confused and didnt think it was going to turn out right but i carried on anyway as i was only using scrap materials anyway and it turned out well! bonus!

I should think i'll make a few of them so i can wash and replace when needed, next i am going to make a fleece liner for the run!
