My Family Tree

As some of you know that I am going through a crap time at the mo, so I have decide to try my hand at doing my family tree, in the hope that it keeps me busy! My Uncle gave my dad a family tree that he had done and have took a pic of it and now I have it on my lap top. Must say his writting is very old school so its taken me a while to get through it. He has gone as far back as my GreatGreat Grandparents! Who where born in 1862! I have now found all their children through the census! My Dad was a born a Broadey but because his mother remarried when he was young he took his stepdads name as Marriott. So I should be a Broadey not a Marriott. Much rather be a Broadey!

I tried my hand at this last year and found to my mum and her sisters utter amazement they had another uncle that had died aged 3 and was a twin to thier uncle who survived they said nan had never mentioned him but they did'nt talk about things like that years ago I suppose

My grandad and dad have traced back our family tree, to about the 1700s I think.. pretty interesting, but havn't found anyone famous yet

I think we've got one somewhere. My uncle is Lou Lou's cousin or somethn like that.. Nothin to be proud of

Lucinda beats us all hands down in the famous relative stakes ;D Her great x7 Grandfather was Horatio Nelson :o

I do my family tree on and off, it's interesting but I keep on hitting brick walls ?

I'm in touch with a few people on genes reuntied and we have managed to go back as far as 1628
