My Dumbo Ratties!

Aswell as my 15 other rats I acquired my first 2 gorgeous dumbo rats yesterday! Called them Parsley & Herb (Simbas influence!).

Yeah it because of the ears. Not sure how the name came about originally but thats the name of this particular varity of Fancy Rat

I use to keep rats, well only two, Marmalde and Scabbers and they have got to be as fun as guineas, in fact when the gerbil dies i might get some more!

But yours are very cute.

I naughtily got them from Wilsons Pets (have other rats from there, plus Simba my piggy). I only went there for cat litter! But couldnt resist the dumboness...

don't care where you got them from they are lovely, spoke to my OH and he said NO straight away was gutted, may have to with hold certain things to get my own way hehe

its basically a really awful virus had a high mortality rate. one mass breeder > has it at the moment and is still selling animals. its also air born so if you got a say a hamster and have rats it can be carried on the hamsters fur and infect the rats...

Yeah heard about SDA So far only heard of it from Pets@home, though Wilsons may use the same breeder.
Fingers crossed though!

REALLY cant see why people dislike ratty tails, I love them...even when they whip you in the face with them ;D

Not that I don't like them, will gladly stroke them. Just the tail that bothers me
