Viennese Furbabies

The piggies stayed with a friend of mine for 10 days while I was on holiday. At home they are really well behaved as far as their wheeking is concerned. 
They wheek when they think that there could be a chance of getting fresh greens from the garden, but when I let them sniff at my fingers, they grudgingly accept that there is no grass or dandelion (when I'm not coming home from the garden) and stop to wheek.
There is a bit of wheeking before the evening veggies and sometimes they encourage me to be quicker in the morning, but they never ever wake me up. While I'm asleep or when I just got up, they are quiet or just doing their usual guinea pig stuff.
But at my friend's place they were wheeking all the time, woke her up in the morning, acted like little furry terrorists.
My friend was very glad to see them go today and I'm not so sure they will be welcome to stay with her again.
It's really funny the way guinea pigs act completely different in different surroundings (and with different slaves).
