I just got my first guinea pig, he’s only 2 months and a half. I put my piggy behind closed door and I went showering. I heard my piggy squeaking, I found my dog taking my piggy away. After I recused my piggy, he’s never stop squeaking. I’ve put him in a safe and quiet place now. I don’t know what to do. There’s no injuries but I’m so worried 😭

Oh no I’m so sorry to hear your piggy has been attacked. I would definitely take them to the vet to make sure there are no internal injuries.

Good luck I hope your piggy is ok. 🤞🏻

I can’t drive so I have to wait for my mom to take him there. The nearest vet is 1-hour drive 😭 I have to keep an eye on him for now.

Thank you so much 🙏🥺😭

Please keep an eye on him and put him somewhere he is safe from your dog with a blanket over the top for the added feeling of security. There could be internal injuries from shaking even if there are no actual bite marks, just bruising and the shock.
