So for the past couple of months I have been using a shower curtain as a floor in the C&C cage but it is awful to clean out. I decided to finally get some correx and it is the 2mm one that is £3. Although with delivery it is £10 but still good price.

Couple of questions. What is the average height for the sides? And how do I measure it out properly so that it all fits nice and snug. I am afraid the plastic bits that hold the grids together will make it awkward lol

This gives brilliant instructions on how to score & cut correx:

They recommend you make the sides 6 inches, or around 15cm.
Put the cage on top of the sheet of correx & mark the measurements inside so the tray will fit inside the cage. Be careful scoring the correx, don't be too firm as 2 mm is quite thin :)

Good luck with making your cage piggie and cavy slave friendly! :))
We would love to see pigtures when it's all done :)

Thankyou :) I will get to it today and use the guide!
I will try to take photos, I just hope I can find a memory card to put in my camera

I followed the 15cm advice and wish I hadn't its the perfect height for them to chew and the 2mm doesn't last long , I'd now go for much higher maybe14 inches

Very stylish :) Was a bit of a squeeze but luckily it all fitted

He has already tried nibbling on the edges but as soon as I put hay in he was more interested in that thankfully lol

Mine also chew the sides badly so have had to now buy thicker correx, wish I'd just gone for the thicker one originally or made the sides higher.

I'd advise getting some thicker plastic corner protectors thing and overlapping it over the edge to stop chewing!
