I FINALLY have the accommodation ready for my two new guinea pigs:) As I am going to Mosschops rescue Saturday to hopefully pick up two girls *fingesr crossed*
It's a 5x2 C&C cage that took me and my brother a very long 2 hours to make last night but i'm so pleased with it.

If you think I need to make any changes to the layout or add more toys please let me know. I've bought a cat litter tray off ebay so the litter tray will be bigger i'm just waiting for it to arrive.

I would also like to say a HUGE thank you to everyone on here for convincing me to have a C&C. You were all so right!

WELL DONE! I have exactly the same cage as you and my piggies love it, they're always whizzing around rolleyes you've done a good job and I bet you can't wait for your piggies! Looking forward to seeing pics of them! xx>>>
 
That looks brilliant, well done, cant wait to see the pigtures when your piggies are home.

The only thing I would say is make sure you have spares of everything washable. :) Also you may want two bowls, even if they arnt both in the cage at once. :) I use my spare bowl for herbage, or readigrass on occasions. :)
 
Oh lovely cage. You will need another pig loo or wooden cabin as often piggies fight over things.
 
fantastic job well done it looks brilliant.

The only change i would make is to not put everything round the edges as they like to run round things etc, BUT knowing piggies they will just move them to where they want them!

ps cant see a water bottle, I'm sure you have sorted something, just thought id mention x

TiddleMidnight - Yes it's a piggy dig from Laura piggiepigpigs. She makes some lovely things. I've just bought a cupcake print tubey tunnel from her. All her stuff are really good quality.

Connie - I have 5 fleeces, extra towels, some more toys and i've got another food bowl on it's way from zooplus.

Piggyfan - I thought with having a piggy dig I wouldn't need a another igloo.

doglovinpiggylover - I'll make sure I won't put everything around the edges. Thanks for letting me know! and yes I do have a water bottle just haven't put in on yet.

I've got a layer of towels underneath the fleeces will this be okay or will I need newspaper aswell?
 
hehehe Looks great! x) and so tidy. Looks similar to a someone i know on my facebook.. "Laurapiggiespigs" rolleyes
