:)p Hi every one. I'm new to this forum, but I love what you are doing here.

I thought I'd post photos of where my 2 Piggies live as I have been a bit obseessed this year getting their C&C set up right.

This was their home in the Spring/summer... its in my dinning room right next to my computer. During the day they were in the garden munching grass.

Now I have sorted them the lower level for more exercise in the winter

This is Salt and Pepper my 2 boars, dicovering the lower slope, and yummy grasses awaiting them......

That is the most beautiful piggy mansion! it is huge! i just worked out sizes and you could actually fit 10 pigs in that although I'm sure your boys appreciate the room!just fantastic, love the piggies too beautiful colouring!!

I like the spring layout better, the later one was too deep, making it difficult to reach in and clean.
Very nice.

Its OK to clean, I have a system in place now as I know the area they mostly do their toileting in. I flip the lower ramp up, and I have some flleece waterproof pads that someone made me on e-bay. (The ones in the picture with the pawprints on). And I whip them out and slide another one back under.
I can sit in there with them too, or just open one of the c&c panels so they can explore further afield, and come and go as they please.

The 'up' side is..... this year we'll all be having christmas dinner at my parents house as the piggies house takes up so much room that the dinning room table cant be moved to fit us all round....Yay :))
:)p

I'd better not show this to my hubby! That IS the ultimate palace and then some! x)x)x)

I've got seven piggies, but they have to share a far smaller double storey C&C. They have the run of the living room, though, while I work at home.

wow welcome to the forum. You certainly are commited to looking after your piggies and setting up their home. Their C & C looks amazing! Great job!

Lovely cage! Can I ask how you make the ramps and fix them on?

I am getting another sheet of correx tomorrow to make another level for my cage.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE your cage. Both versions.

I am so jealous! I love the space and my husband loves the table underneath (where did you get that by the way?)

Your boys are sweet too coming down the ramp.

Gorgeous

I had a good look around my garage - which is like aladdins cave. The ramps are actually plastic window sills. We had some left from a diy job. Which we had got from a diy store. They are turned over, so one side has a little lip. Then we put some basic cord type carpet over the top. I drilled 2 holes in the window sills and thread cables ties through the plastic and to the correx too.

Well, this is my 'old version' I made it 'off the ground' by using the grids as legs....

Then when I decided I wanted it L shapes I ask my Dad ! Bless him he's 70 years old but he can do anything in my eyes. :)
I bought 8 metal legs from B&Q (Pepper is a big wood nibbler). Dad made me 2tables, both the same size, so each worked with the 2 by 4 grids. 'L' shaped them and bolted them together. A lick of white paint. Job done !

Fantastic construction for someone so young!
A liitle too big for the slide!

Wow, fabulous setup, makes me want to add a second level to the 4x5 section of mine! :))

I love the C & C setups and would love to make a nice 2 storey one that I could use for my little boy on the top then the girlies could have the underneath but I really don't have a clue where to start. I would be very grateful if some kind person could maybe give me some instructions on making 1.

There are some great websites like this one which are a good place to start:

What an amazing set up. Your guineas are so lucky. If only everyone piggy had a palace like this.

I have PM's you about it!
