We've had them for 2 years and there has never been a problem, but suddenly, the bigger one, only just now, has starting mounting/biting the littler one! Any help?

If there is blood, separate them and let them cool down for a day or two.

When you reintroduce them together, do so on neutral ground with lots of space and nothing they can claim as "theirs" and fight over. Make sure they have EVERYTHING in twos!

If you're unlucky, they won't be able to love together again. Fall-outs can happen at any age. Just take it slowly and you might be able to get them back together again. They might prefer to live next to each other, but not together again.

Fingers crossed!

Thanks for the advice, i dont think it's that serious, i just wondered how to make him stop hurting the other!

Separate them ad hope that your mad boy cools down. Most often they do!

Must be the season!
Two of mine are doing the same, they are brothers and been together from birth for nearly 3 years! no blood drawn so far, so I am monitoring them and they have never had a cross word with eachother before :o Out of all mine, I would have said they were the perfect pair but the last two days have been mayhem, no change in routine, no change in anything so just wait and see. If blood is drawn, seperate :{

(don't you just love boars...maybe 2-3 yrs is like the human male 40' something :)) )

Oooo I so agree, my 2 older boys have been a nightmare in the last couple of days, I've often seen a few disagreements between them, but not to the extent over Thurs/Fri, then today they've been absolute angels. I was getting to the stage where I was thinking of splitting them up for a couple of days. I'm just going to take it a day at a time.

Although I think I may of upset the dynamics by bringing into the fold a new pair of boars 2 weeks ago, but it's taken them all this time to realise they are not the only pigigs in the village. :(|)

Definatly must be the season! Marvin and Chocco have been rumbling and strutting their stuff, but today marvin went for Chocco and took a chunk out of his lip. Takeing Chocco to the vet now hopefully its not to serious.
For now marvin has been seperated from Chocco, hopefully after a while apart they will be able to be re-introduced.
