My beautiful pancake, Dylan ❤️‍🩹

To be honest, it’s taken me almost a year to post this and I still don’t think I’m over the grief - but with another terminally ill piggie now, I think I’m ready to talk about my boy Dylan

At around 6am on 21st July 2022, my sweet little pancake pig Dylan passed away. He was 5 and a half years old. I wasn’t home when he passed, which I don’t think I’ll ever forgive myself for. Thankfully, he was being watched by the lovely Suzy at GGPR who brought him to me in the first place, and was snuggled up with her at the end.

He didn’t care much for haircuts or being brushed, but he loved chomping fresh grass in his garden and eating lots of things he wasn’t supposed to - like his blanket, mattress, my towels, skirting boards, and more he was cuddly, loving and the most precious boy I’ve ever known. I miss our nightly sofa cwtches more than I can explain, even 11 months on.

The only consolation I feel is that he is finally with his brother Indiana again - who passed away of Lymphoma just 5 weeks before him.

I’m sure he’s been munching on the greenest grass over the bridge this last year. He was a gorgeous and special piggy.

Treasure the memories you have of your gorgeous boy Your photos of him on your lap on the sofa reminds me so much of the happy times with my two boys, they were cuddles too

Sorry for your loss. Dylan was a handsome floof and was no doubt living a life full of love with you. I’m sure he’s reunited with Indiana and they’ve been having lots of adventures over the rainbow bridge together x

My little boys were very small boys and loved a snuggle with their Mammy… miss them both dearly
