My baby guinea pig got hay in her eye

Hi my 3 week old guinea pig got hay in her eye my daughter thought she had it on her face and pulled it out, I quickly washed her eye but she keeps closing it.
I've got a vet appointment for tomorrow but anything I can do to help her right now.

There’s not much you can do other than see a vet.

Please don’t do anything other than take her to the vet who will stain her eye with a special orange dye to check for corneal ulcers. If this is the case, an antibiotic eye drop will be prescribed along with a pain killer. It’s good you got the hay out x

I agree.
The vet will check the eye and if necessary prescribe eye drops.
Once treated haypoke doesn’t usually take long to heal.

It went good thank you her eye is opened today and she was given eye drops so hopefully they will do the trick. Not too much damage xx
