Teenage Guinea Pig
I'm really pleased with how well they seem to be settling. Last night Nia (who seems to be the more timid of the two) was doing zoomies all around the cage and popcorning all over! It was so funny to watch! And Patches burrowed right down to the very bottom of the hay box and was bouncing around in there like a mad thing. I just kept seeing these big bunches of hay jumping up and down LoL.
When I cleaned their cage this morning they even ran right past my hands a few times! So no longer hiding terrified in their houses on the other end of the cage, but actually running really close to me which was awesome! I still haven't touched one since putting them in their cage on Wednesday, but they're definitely loads braver. I'm hoping to try a bit of floor time this weekend - want to take them out for a health check and weighing so will see how that goes.
