I'm curious about how many of you play music for your piggies. I would play "Kraftwerk" for Sunshine, standing him on my ribs and bouncing him a little, making him dance.

Putt loved 'Olly Murs' if he was on MTV she would come out of her house :)) she had dodgy music taste I admit. But hearing him does make me think of her. (She was the piggy on the right in my avatar)

Our current girls don't seem to react to music at all.

Hi, "Theoretikos", do you pick them up and make them dance a little? Sunshine liked the simple songs I would make up for him. They were awful, but he seemed to enjoy them. I used to whistle to him "so happy together" by the Turtles.

Hi, Lee, have you tried picking them up and making them dance a little? That's a lovely photo, both Putt and the crest piggy look so healthy and well cared for. So, she would come out of her pigloo? That's so funny! LOL!
Thanks,
Alexis

They wouldn't want to dance, that would eat into their chilling time :) Yes, Putt would come out of her pigloo :))

Hi, "Piggyfan" is Amelia Jane the beautiful piggy pig on your avatar? She's lovely, isn't she? I don't know much about music, this one time, by accident, I played some music on my cell phone, and Sunshine showed interest, so I grabbed him, moved him around like he was dancing, moved his little footsies, his little paws. It was fun. Is your little piggy Peronel still dancing?
Thanks,
Alexis

Yes Amelia Jane is in my avatar. Sadly I lost peronel two years ago.

Hi, "Piggyfan", so sorry about Peronel's passing. Why not play music for Amelia Jane today!
Thanks,
Alexis

Mine don't react to 'indoor noise' at all... they live in the family room in a house with three kids and hear a lot of children voices, tv and music background noise, etc. The only respond to noises that mean something to them... for instance, they will wheek in the evening when they hear my chair squeak because that might mean I'm getting up to get them treats! They also respond to the fridge door opening, plastic crinkling (could be hay in that bag!) and the sound of me opening/closing doors and putting up baby gates (means free time is approaching.) They also respond really noticeably to outdoor noise- like birds singing. They will freeze for a minute. Because of our climate, they are only able to be outside two or three months out of the year, and I think they forget the normal outdoor noises over the course of the winter.

Ours run and hide if we play music on the stereo but they're fine if its coming from the telly. Actually I think they're little telly addicts , they often sit for ages staring at the screen both in their cages and at lap time.
