mumbling?

hi, when i get my piggies out on my knee and start to stroke them, they start to make a mumbling orcooing sound. is this because they are happy or they want to get off?

sometimes they make a noise to say 'don't stroke my fir that way as it hurts'. Try just stroking them the way there fir lays O0

sometimes they make this noise if they aren't sure about something, or slightly nervous.
