Yeah, i've probably spelt it wrong. If i have then i'll explain what i mean. You know when animals loose their fur?
Well my Cookie's started multing alot. I had to brush her out today and lots of her fur came off!
She multed some weeks back and then it stopped now she's doing it again. When are they supposed to mult? and how many times in that season whatever are they supposed to do it?
Are you guinea pigs multing now?

my merinos seem to be moulting a bit, espeically my 6 month old, although his fur is quite long so it could be because of that.

its a question i'd actually be interested in seeming what others say!

Thanks for bringing it up!

one of my girls is the same, loads of fur coming off when you brush and stroke her, but she hasn't any signs of lice or mites and she's not going bald, i was guessing she was getting rid of her winter coat! But no sorry dont know why. :{

Mine is not showing any signs of mites or lice either.
Yeah it could just be her getting rid of her winter coat, even though it's abit late now, Summer's passing. :P

Thanks

is she indoors or outdoors? not sure if they would make a difference, mine are indoors

Hi, there. By the way I have a to guinea pigs called Cookie and Biscuit (Great minds think alike!) and they molt or mult or whatever it is all the time, the molt constantly. As long as she's got no bald patches she'll be fine! :)
