Moving The Boys

I am so excited! So, we need to move the boys inside for the winter anyway, but I had become conscious that in their double hutch, because it's 5ft x 1ft instead of 4ft x 2ft when their tunnels, hiding houses etc are in there they don't have much room to run and popcorn.

My wonderful other half has agreed to build them a wooden pen in the utility room that will be 5ft x 3ft so 15sq ft with an L shape loft level and they will be in there on a permanent basis. I can't wait for them to have more room to run around. I'm not sure whether they will stay on shavings or if I'll change them to fleece but I can't wait for him to build it for them.

That sounds really exciting. I am going to try mine on fleece too (getting them in early November).

Hope you get to see plenty of running around and popcorning.

My girls are on fleece in their 4x2 c&c in the dining room and I really like it. I'll need to work out what the boys pen costs me in shaving vs buying the liners as I need to get another liner for my girls as well as one for their loft area which is still on shavings but their kick it down onto the lower level so it's going everywhere lol.

It's now going to be 7ft x 3ft so 21sqft, I'm so excited
