hi everyone
when is the best time to move my piggie back outside?
would he be ok to start going out during the day? into his hutch not run.
many thanks

I think it is too cold to have your piggy out now. I would wait at least until April.

I agree you need to wait to the weather is warmer i would wait till april/may and only have him out in the day if its warm enough :)

i wouldnt purley because the day temps are nice but its the drop overnight. i'd be more inclined to have them out during the day but in at night until may :)

I'm hardening mine off! They're in at night in a heating free room and out during the day in a hutch in my garage. I'll stop bringing them back in at night in a few days and obviously keep an eye on the temperature for the next few weeks. They seem ok with this, you can often tell by their behaviour, if they're feeling a bit chilly they'll hide away and huddle but mine are out exploring and running about so I think they're ok :)

I dont put mine out untill the night temp is at least 10degrees for a few days.I go out & cut them some grass most days as a treat, so now everytime I go ito the garden to take the bins out or to put washing on the line there is a chorus of wheeking from the guineas & they don't give up untill they've received thier treat!

mine are not out yet, purely as I need to get a hutch cover. i had the girlies nicely set up in a big hutch inside a plastic walk in greenhouse, shelter from rain and wind. Such a rotten winter the greenhouse got torn, luckily the girls were indoors...
